I read the Policies & Procedures inside out.

What I do will never be right in their set ways.

When things go badly wrong you move the goalposts!
Blame everyone but yourself!
Wash your hands clean!
I wear my work face proudly like warpaint!

Navigate through corporate kingdom!

Upended body.
Deflate, decline.
Absent only for a moment.

Thoughts and physical action.
My face was ashen like etiolated leaves,
Living with lack of light.
You were fading into darkness.

Traveling slow.
Headlights on in the daylight.
Road closure up ahead.
We had no choice.
Turn right back, find another way.
Nothingness but I can see beforehand.
Anticipation of future events.
Why can't we feel the love?

Polarisation, cracks on pavements.

We all want to make a living.
Pay the bills, live our lives.
